1 can chickpeas

1/2 the water from the can of chickpeas (aka aquafaba)

1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

2 tbsp tahini

1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice (to taste)

1-3 small cloves of garlic, roughly chopped (to taste)

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp finely ground black pepper

Optional extras:

1/2 tsp turmeric

roast red pepper



Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blitz to smooth. The consistency is all down to you just use more or less chickpea water. Serve with vegetable sticks.
