5 Remote Workcations in Ireland

There are lots of great city spots to work remotely but here are a list of properties you can escape to in the country for some work inspiration and active fun. Also know by the Canadians and Americans as a "workcation".  A "workcation" is where you work remotely while on vacation and can prove to be very productive. Employees often take this opportunity to host fellow co-workers from overseas. Others see this as a benefit of escaping before the weekend begins.

It takes the stress of being caught in weekend traffic, and arriving home late with the thought of another long commute ahead to escape the city and before you know it, your Friday evening is over. With a workcation you have already escaped the traffic, finished several conference calls and the weekend is on your door step.

Workcation should not be confused with your annual leave entitlements. Employees are entitled to holidays without work. "Workcation" is where more companies are embracing employees "vacating" the office to work. It's known as working smart. Most who work remotely work from home. Others are now promoting "workcation".

For years creative people have escaped to the country side or travelled abroad for inspiration and ideas. In a technology based industry IT and app platforms rely heavily on create thinking and stepping out of the office is often the only way you may find this inspiration.
